But before Rath Yatra there is another festival comes in the month of Jeshtha of Hindu calendar in Odia we call it Jeshtha Masa on Purnami or Purnima( full moon day) it's called Deva Snana Purnima or Snana Yatra which is today. Its the first occasion in Hindu calendar its is celebrated as lord Jaganatha birthday. During this occasion deities Jaganatha, Subhadara, Balabhadra are brought out from Jaganatha Temple to Snana Bedi means bathing place with baja n proccession.
