Fish and vegetable mixture( macha ghanta)



 We need:
Fried rohu fish head and tail
1 small cabbage chopped
1 small brinjal cut into pieces
1 small potato cut into pieces
1chopped onion
1 Chopped tomato
2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
2 tablespoon mustard oil
A  pinch of hing or asafetida
2 Teja patta or bay leafs
3 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon corriander powder.

Method:
Wash the vegetables properly. Now take a pressure cooker and add chopped cabbage, green peas, brinjal pieces, potato pieces, turmeric powder,salt together cover the lid and cook it on gas stove till 4 whistles come after 4 whistle off the gas stove.

Now on another gas stove take a frying pan heat it now add oil when oil is heated add asafetida (hing), bay leaf immediately add onion in it and fry it till it turns light brown. On low flame add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,salt, coriander powder,cumin powder and fry it for 2 mins in low medium flame.
After that add chopped tomato and fry it add little bit water and cook tomato for 2 mins for .

Now on the other hand break the fried fish head and tail into pieces and when tomato is properly cooked add the fried fish pieces and cook for 2 mins add the pressure cooked vegetables and cook  till  water dries and oil started to come out.

Macha Ghanta or fish and vegetable mixture  is ready to eat. Serve hot with roti or paratha.
