Spinach Dal


We need :
Chopped spinach
1 cup pigeon pea lentil or toor dal 
1 tomato chopped
1 onion finely chopped
Chopped garlic
Chopped green chilli
Turmeric powder
Cumin seeds
Cumin powder
Meat masala
Salt
Oil.
Butter for garnish

Method
Soak dal or lentil for 1 hour. After one hour  wash lentil or dal properly. Take a pressure cooker add lentil 1 1/2 cup water turmeric powder, salt cover the lid and Cook it till 5-6 whistles come.

Now on gas stove take a pan and heat oil in it. when oil is heated add cumin seeds when it starts cracking add chopped onion, chopped garlic, chopped green chilli, chopped tomato,salt and cook for 1-2 mins on low medium flame.

Now add cooked dal in it and stir it. Now add spinach,cumin powder,meat masala and stlr it. Cook for 3-4 min on low flame.


Spinach Dal is ready to eat. Add butter and  serve with roti or naan.
