Homemade food for our babies during summer/ loose motion and vomiting.

I have asked yesterday a question to moms that what food they prefer to give to their kids during loose motion and vomiting but i didn't get my answer. When summer comes many moms become very much worried about their kids because during summer season kids have dehydration problem and due to dehydration they don't eat anything.

We moms give many things to our kids for making them well. I prefer to give sabudana /tapioca kheer without milk during summer and during dehydration this sabudana / tapioca keeps her tummy cool and lots of water also.

Its a best food for 7 months and above babies. I started this as a food of my daughter from 7 months and now also when she has loose motion, vomiting i give this to her. so here is a very simple recipe of baby food.

Ingredients we need :

1 packet small size sabudana / tapioca
 candy sugar for sweetness
 water for making kheer
  pinch of salt

Method of preparation:

1. On a gas stove take a frying pan and dry roast the sabudana / tapioca for 4 mins on medium to low flame stir it continues after it is roasted keep it aside and let it cool down.

2. Now on gas stove take a sauce pan add 1 glass water, roasted sabudana, salt and mix them well and bring it to boil on high flame.

3. When it starts boiling low the flame and cook it till water becomes half in quantity.

4. Add candy sugar for sweetness and mix well. Switch off the gas stove.

5. Let it cool and then give it to your kid.

You can give it in loose motion, vomiting 3 times a day.

In summer season give it to your kids 1time in a day but don't forget to give lots of water after every meal or on other time.

No need to roast it every day once roasted it keep it in air tight container and use it.

For 7 month to 2 year babies:

If you want to give it as a food to your baby then don't worry try it.

Method :

1. Grind the roasted sabudana/tapioca and make powder

2. On a gas stove take a saucepan now add half glass water and quickly add 2 to 3 tablespoons powdered tapioca/sabudana in it mix well to avoid lumps add a pinch of salt.

3. Stir it in between when water becomes half in level add milk half glass milk and cook it for 3 mins on medium flame stir it continuesly.

4. Switch off the gas and let it cool. After it is cool give it to your babies.

You can give it to your baby 2-3 times a day. It's totally safe and I was giving it to my daughter  from 7 months to 1 1/2 year

No need to grind it every day once grind it and keep it in a air tight container and use it.
