Bhindi Tomato Rai Or Gravy




Hello everyone I was very late in my work little bit busy in my new home and here my kitchen is very very small so tensed for that also.

Today I am posting a yummy recipe from oriya kitchen. It's bhindi/ lady finger tomato rai or gravy. It's a very yummy recipe. Let's start with the recipe.

For making bhindi tomato rai

We need:

250 gm bhindi/ladyfinger washed and cut into small pieces

10 juicy red tomatoes washed and cut into pieces

2 tablespoon white,black mustard,garlic and green chilli paste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt as per taste

Oil for cooking

Method:

1. On a gas stove take a frying pan add oil and heat it when oil is heated add bhindi and fry it. when it is cooked take out it in a plate.

2. In the same frying pan heat oil now low the flame and add the mustard paste,turmeric powder,salt and cook for 1 min then add chopped tomato stir it  cover the lid and cook it on medium flame.

3. Cook tomatoes till water dries when water dries mix the tamatoes now add fried bhindi and cook for 3 mins on low flame.

5. Your bhindi tomato rai is ready to serve.

Guguni is a famous curry in maximum homes of Odisha it's also found on the street of Odisha  as a street food. In Odisha it's way of eating is different at different places. some people love to  eat with plain dosa,idli,upma,puri,paratha, to and some people love to eat with puffed rice( in Oriya it's muri).
