Mix veg curry

For making mix veg curry  We need: 1/4 Cauliflower cut into small pieces 1/2 brinjal cut into small pieces 1/2 radish cut into small pieces Some green beans cut into small pieces Some butter beans cut into small pieces 1 small potato cut into small pieces 1/2 tomato 1 onion chopped Some garlic cloves 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon curry powder(optional) Salt as per your taste Oil for cooking Coriander leaves for garnish Method: On a gas stove take a sauce pan or kadhai add water,salt, turmeric powder and boil it when it starts boiling add all the vegetables (except tomato,onion and garlic) now boil all the vegetables when veggies are half cooked add tomato in it. Guguni Or Dry Yellow Peas Curry

Guguni is a famous curry in maximum homes of Odisha it's also found on the street of Odisha  as a street food. In Odisha it's way of eating is different at different places. some people love to  eat with plain dosa,idli,upma,puri,paratha, to and some people love to eat with puffed rice( in Oriya it's muri). It's taste yummy with any of these items or without these items. So here is the recipe of guguni. Banana Cake with a flavour of Elichi And Coffee

I have oven but can't make cake in it perfectly so I use pressure cooker to bake cake which I feel very easy to use and I make the batter in mixer grinder jar not in hand blender. So here is the recipe of pressure cooker banana cake. Ingredients we need : Maida or refined flour: 11/2 cup Milk: 11/4 cup Oil: 1/2 cup Baking powder: 1 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon Sugar: 1/2 cup or as per your taste ( I have used big size sugar) Ripe banana: 2 Elaichi or cardamom powder:1/2 teaspoon Coffee powder 1/4 teaspoon Chopped Almond Chopped cashew nuts Raisin Salt 1 cup for baking Method: In a juice strainer sift maida ,baking powder, baking soda,coffee powder in a bowl after that take a big grinding jar add milk,oil mixture of maid,baking,powder,baking soda,coffee powder and blend it. A mix green leaf recipe from Oriya kitchen.

We need: 1 bunch of radish leaves chopped Some cauliflower leaves chopped Cabbage upper leaves chopped Garlic cloves crushed Salt as per taste Sugar 1 and 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Mustard oil 1 tablespoon Method: Wash the chopped green leaves 3 times and drain the water in a strainer.  On a gas stove take a pan add the washed green leaves,salt and 1/4 glass of water and mix it cover the lid and cook it on low flame till water dries and green leaves cook properly. After it cooked properly take it out in a serving bowl now on the same pan heat oil after oil is heated put some mustard seeds when it starts cracking add crushed garlic and fry till it turns light brown color.  Now add the cooked green leaves,sugar and cook it for 5 mins on low flame. Oriya style baigan ka bharata or mashed eggplant.

We need : 2 eggplants burnt properly 1 small onion chopped 1 green chilli chopped( optional) 3-4 drops of mustard oil Salt as per taste Method: Take the burnt eggplants and remove the upper burnt  portion from it.  Now take a bowl mashed the eggplants add chopped onion,oil,salt and green chilli mix them properly. Baigan ka bharata is ready to eat. Serve with roti Note: 1.You can add 1 tablespoon of curd in it for more taste. 2. You can avoid mustard oil and use olive oil in it. 3.It's a very healthy recipe during dieting.

Cabbage Potato Fry

We need: 1/2 cabbage washed and chopped properly 1 big potato washed and cut into long thin pieces Green chilli chopped (optional}) 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon meat masala salt as per taste oil for cooking Method: On a gas stove take a pan heat oil in it now add cumin seeds when it starts cracking add chopped cabbage, potato , turmeric powder ,salt and stir it properly, cover the lid and cook it on low flame till veggies cooked properly and water dries ( while cooking on covered lid stir it once to avoid burning).When cabbage and potato cooked properly add cumin powder,meat masala and cook for 5 mins on low flame. It's ready to serve. Garnish with coriander leave and serve hot with roti , paratha or plain dosa.
