Jeshtha Purnima Deva snana Purnima Or Snana Yatra Or Bath Ceremony : A Holy Festival

But before Rath Yatra there is another festival comes in the month of Jeshtha of Hindu calendar in Odia we call it Jeshtha Masa on Purnami or Purnima( full moon day) it's called Deva Snana Purnima or Snana Yatra which is today. Its the first occasion in Hindu calendar its is celebrated as lord Jaganatha birthday.  During this occasion deities Jaganatha, Subhadara, Balabhadra are brought out from Jaganatha Temple to Snana Bedi means bathing place with baja n proccession.                 In this deities are bathed with 108 pots of purified water brought from the well of the temple. Fish Egg Pakoda recipe is a very easy one to make and very tasty to eat. In odia we call it macha bihana Pakudi or bara. I love to eat it with plain dosa we can eat it as a snacks also. Pana Sankranti or Maha Bishuba Sankranti every year it comes on 14 April today it is 14 April it is also called as Odia New Year . In Odisha it is celebrated with lots of joy there is puja in many homes and in a small pot we fill pana and hang it on tulsi plant and  from today baisahk month starts. Temples are full of devotees to get darshan of god before we start this holy day. In Odisha pana is a very unique drink made in every homes using bel or melon. Hey guys how's all going on. Sorry for very late post but today I have come with something yummy. It's very tasty to eat when I bring chicken for cooking briyani I always bring liver and marinade it with biriyani chicken. And when I start making briyani I cook liver in pan and it gives a nice aroma and yummy flavour. So today I tried it with chicken pieces. So let's start. Healthy And Yummy Breakfast Recipe : Semolina/Suji Dosa

A very healthy and yummy recipe which we can eat in breakfast or we can pack it for kids tiffin box. For making suji/semolina dosage We need: 2 cups suji/semolina soaked in water for 5 hours or overnight Cauliflower washed and chopped Green peas Capsicum washed and finely chopped Carrot washed and finely chopped Onion finely chopped 5 teaspoon curd or as per your taste Few curry leaves Salt as per taste Let's start making dosage 1.Take a bowl add soaked suji,curd,curry leaves,all chopped veggies mix well,salt and make a thick batter 2. On gas stove heat tawa when tawa is heated add 2 teaspoon oil and spread it with the help of spatula. 3. Now low the flame add 2 tablespoon batter and spread it. Cover it with lid and cook for 3 mins then take out the lid turn another side and cook for 3 mins in covered lid. 4.  It's ready to eat. Take it out in a plate serve hot with chutney. You can add chopped green chilli for better taste.

Beat The Heat With This Tasty Summer Drink: Watermelon Curd Sharbat or drink

Today when I was making watermelon juice suddenly I thought if I add curd then it may give a yummy taste. So here what I got a tasty drink. So here is the description of this drink. For Making Watermelon Curd Sharbat  Or Drink We Need: 1 watermelon Curd Sugar as per requirement Method: 1. Cut the watermelon into pieces take a jar add watermelon pieces,sugar ( watermelon I have used wasn't sweet and make it's juice. Then with the help of a strainer strain the juice in a bowl and measure it. 2. Take another bowl add curd half the quantity of juice  (2 glass juice 1 glass curd) and mix well. 3. Your watermelon curd drink is ready to serve. Keep in refrigerator and serve chilled or as you like. Note: My watermelon wasn't sweet so I added sugar in it. Before you add sugar taste it or add sugar and curd as per your taste.

Feeling Hungry And Want Some Chatpata- Paratha Roll

For Making Paratha Roll We Need: 1 Paratha Tomato ketchup 1 sliced cheese Cucumber washed and chopped Onion chopped Tomato washed and chopped 1 teaspoon lemon juice Coriander leaves paste or chutney Salt for taste Method In a bowl add chopped cucumber,onion,tomato,lemon juice,coriander leaves paste,salt and mix well for stuffing. Now take a paratha spread tomato sauce on it then keep the sliced cheese on it and add the mixed stuffing. Finally roll it and serve as you like. You can add other veggies of your choice which you love to eat raw. I have not use any type of chilli item in this for my daughter but if green chilli added to it then that will give it more better taste.
